Local community events announced for Katare Toyama and Saga Balloneers

Various regional community engagement events have been announced for Japanese sports teams.

Katare Toyama will host ‘Uozu City Day’ during their J2 League match against Vegalta Sendai on November 3, 2026. As part of an initiative to promote the charms of Uozu City, a lottery will be held for visitors at the visitor gate, with prizes including kamaboko sets from local company Kochiya.

Saga Balloneers will hold ‘Saga City Game Day’ on December 19, 2026, at SAGA Arena during their match against Kyoto Hannaryz. The event includes invitations for 200 Saga City residents and a recruitment drive for ten ‘high-touch kids’ from local elementary schools to greet players upon entry.
