Local community events held in Bavaria and Weihern

Various community activities took place across the region, including an Oktoberfest celebration hosted by FC Baiersdorf. The event featured traditional Franconian specialties, live music from the Islinger Blaskapelle, and a ceremonial beer tapping. Activities included log sawing competitions involving several local teams.

In Weihern, the local fire department organized an autumn hike for members and children. The group traveled through local state forests to the FC Wernberg sports clubhouse, where the hike combined nature education regarding local flora and agriculture with a communal meal.

Additionally, approximately 50 CSU seniors from the Neustadt district conducted a guided tour of the Grafenwöhr military training area. Led by former professional soldier Gerald Morgenstern, the tour included views of military vehicles, helicopters, and shooting ranges used by the Bundeswehr and US forces, while also covering the historical context of the area's expansion.
