Local community events scheduled in Nettuno and Campi Bisenzio

The Santa Barbara Neighborhood Committee in Nettuno has organized the “ViviAmo il Parco” event for Saturday, October 24, 2026. Held at the Giuseppe Fiori Park near the Palazzetto dello Sport, the initiative aims to promote social interaction and community involvement in the recently renovated green space. The program includes children's activities, a book presentation by Adriana Randino, and a round table discussion regarding neighborhood issues. A key highlight is the unveiling of a plaque dedicating the park to local politician Giuseppe Fiori, followed by a tribute concert to Renato Zero.

In Campi Bisenzio, the “Kingdom of Pumpkins and Straw” event continues at Villa Montalvo. This weekend, the theme park will feature archery demonstrations and trials for children and adults from Sesto Fiorentino, using pumpkins and straw as targets. The festival includes large-scale pumpkin and straw sculptures, circus performances, soap bubble shows, and various creative workshops such as beekeeping and a butterfly labyrinth. The event will run through weekends until November 1.
