Local community excursions held in Innsbruck and Freistadt

The Innsbruck-Stadt District Fire Brigade Association organized an excursion to the Tyrolean Museum Railways on October 17, 2026. Participants toured historical tramway collections from the 19th and 20th centuries and visited the Local Railway Museum at the former Stubaital station. The event included a special nostalgic tram ride to Igls and concluded with a communal meal at the Bretterkeller traditional inn.

In Freistadt, the Lions Club organized a tram ride for residents of a local day center. The excursion traveled to the city center, ending at the Hotel Freigold, where passengers and caregivers were hosted for coffee and cake.
