Local community festivals held in Boisheim and Albisgütli

Local community celebrations are taking place in Germany and Switzerland. In Boisheim, Germany, the Ki Ka Kai a 1902 e. V. carnival society held a two-day family festival. The event featured music, food, and various activities for children, serving as a central gathering point for neighbors and families.

In Switzerland, the Knabenschiessen festival is scheduled to take place at Albisgütli from September 12 to 14, 2026. The event, which attracts over 800,000 visitors, includes traditional market stalls, rides, and a shooting competition for youths aged 13 to 17 from the Canton of Zurich. The competition, sponsored by Zürcher Kantonalbank, offers a top prize of 5,000 Swiss francs.
