Local community initiatives in Cattolica and Santena

In Cattolica, the city celebrated the upcoming National Tree Day by planting four new trees at the Papa Giovanni XXIII nursery school. The initiative, which included Liquidambar, Feijoa sellowiana, and Callistemon plants, was supported by Geat, the urban greenery management company celebrating its 30th anniversary. Local officials participated in the ceremony to promote environmental education and nature awareness among children.

In Santena, the municipal government completed a 30,000 euro payment to the San Giuseppe nursery school for the delivery of the “Estate bimbi 2026” summer service. The funding, which included a contribution from the Department for Family Policies, supported educational activities for minors held during July 2026.
