Local community organizations distribute charitable donations in Belgium and the Netherlands

Various charitable donations have been announced to support local communities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

In Belgium, Kiwanis Zottegem-Egmont donated 11,000 euros to the Sociale Kruidenier Lichtpunt Zottegem. The funds were used to purchase vouchers for 280 children and youths from vulnerable families to help alleviate financial pressure during the start of the new school year, covering costs for school supplies, clothing, and shoes.

In the Netherlands, Rabobank Noord- en Oost-Achterhoek distributed 52,000 euros from its Rabo Coöperatiefonds to ten different associations and foundations. Recipients include Stichting Verbindkracht, Stichting Vorst, and Stichting Sportaccommodatie Wichmond, among others. The grants are intended for projects such as purchasing vehicles, sustainability improvements for sports halls, and community renovations.
