Local community services expand in Fürth and Cologne

In Fürth, Germany, the Fürther Nachrichten editorial bus will be stationed in the city center on Wednesday, October 28, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Located in the pedestrian zone in front of TK Maxx on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße, the event offers residents an opportunity to engage with editors Harald Ehm, Gwendolyn Kuhn, and chief publicist Alexander Jungkunz to suggest news topics or provide feedback.

Additionally, a photography service will be available between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, where photographer David Oßwald will provide portraits that can be downloaded via QR code.

In Cologne-Poll, the Sparkasse KölnBonn mobile banking bus has expanded its service. Starting October 1, the bus will stop at the Poller Marktplatz every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This follows an existing Monday service at the Aldi parking lot. The expansion was initiated by the SPD to improve local banking access for residents following the closure of the local branch earlier in 2024.
