Local community workshops held in Croatia
Various community-focused workshops have been organized across Croatia to engage younger generations and promote social values.
In Sveti Petar u Šumi, the AltRoute project held its first of three planned workshops at the Sausage House. Led by Elena Zgrablić, local students learned the traditional preparation of Istrian kroštuli. The session emphasized culinary heritage and zero-waste principles, teaching participants how to use ingredients responsibly while preserving local gastronomic traditions.
In Murvica, the ANA association for helping children and families announced a workshop titled “The Magic Suitcase of Good Deeds.” Scheduled for October 31, 2026, the program aims to teach children about the importance of kindness, friendship, and cooperation through storytelling and creative activities. The event is supported by Zadar County and is open to children from the Poličnik municipality and the wider Zadar County region.
