Local council changes in Matelica and Roncade

In Matelica, councilor Corinna Rotili has left the “Scegliamo Matelica” group to serve as an independent member. Rotili stated the decision followed deep reflection regarding irreconcilable political differences and methods. She emphasized that her departure stems from a desire to maintain political coherence, specifically regarding how the opposition should function. Rotili noted that she believes opposition should focus on serious oversight and constructive proposals rather than constant confrontation.

In Roncade, Loredana Crosato has resigned from the “A Roncade” minority group. After ten years of service, including roles as an assessor for sports, commerce, and agriculture, Crosato is stepping down to allow for new leadership. She will be replaced by Alessandro Altran, the first non-elected candidate from the June 2024 elections.
