Local councils in Mielec and Jasień address budgets and investments

In Mielec, President Radosław Swół reported that recent budget changes successfully reduced the city's deficit by 19 million PLN. This adjustment is expected to decrease the planned need for bond issuances by more than 40 percent.

During a heated exchange with opposition councilors, Swół defended the city's activity level by citing ongoing investments, including school and kindergarten renovations, public building repairs, and the modernization of the local Culture House. He also noted that work is progressing on the concept for a Mielec Industry Museum.

In Jasień, Mayor Małgorzata Zimna addressed council members regarding local administrative matters. Discussions included efforts to assist the Jasieński SIM company through meetings with government representatives and addressing the presence of invasive raccoon populations within the municipality.
