Local governments in Poland schedule various council sessions

Numerous municipalities across Poland have announced upcoming local council sessions for late October 2026. These meetings will address a wide range of regional administrative, financial, and social issues.

Key agenda items include decisions on local property taxes, municipal waste collection fees, and budget amendments for 2026 and long-term financial forecasts. In Nowy Sącz, officials are considering the potential liquidation of four municipal kindergartens due to declining enrollment. Other municipalities, such as Barwice, Domaniewice, and Dzierżoniów, are set to discuss cooperation programs with non-governmental organizations for 2027, sports development funding, and the sale of municipal properties.
