Local councils in Uijeongbu and Sejong conduct field inspections and policy meetings

The Uijeongbu City Council's Urban Environment Committee conducted field inspections at six major sites in preparation for the 2026 administrative audit. Members visited locations including the Dobong Vehicle Depot fuel cell power plant, the Yonghyeon public housing district, and resource recovery modernization sites to monitor progress and address potential issues. They also inspected the Camp Red Cloud (CRC) area and local commercial districts to discuss economic revitalization and pedestrian environment improvements.

In Sejong, the Sejong City Council's Administrative and Welfare Committee held a meeting with the Sejong Local Children's Center Association to discuss improving childcare environments and labor cost guidelines for workers. Additionally, the Sejong City Office of Education, in collaboration with Hongik University, launched a creative science after-school program for elementary students across eight schools. This initiative utilizes the RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education) framework to integrate university resources into local primary education.
