Local craft fairs held in Burg and Zarrentin, Germany

The town of Burg will host a Hobby and Creative Fair on 29 November 2026 from 10:00 to 16:00 in the Stadthalle Burg. More than 40 regional exhibitors will showcase handmade items such as woodwork, knitting, ceramics, jewellery and decorations. The event includes a visit from Santa Claus, a children's craft table run by Rolandmühle Burg, a large tombola and food stalls; admission is free.

In Zarrentin am Schaalsee, the Klostermarkt “Kunst & Werk” takes place on 29‑30 August 2026 from 11:00 to 18:00 (extended hours for food vendors). Over 90 exhibitors present fashion, jewellery, ceramics, glass, wood, leather and metal crafts, alongside culinary stands offering dishes from Dutch fries to Belgian waffles. Free concerts by the local gospel choir and a kitchen quartet are scheduled, and entry to the market and concerts is free.

Both events are organized by the respective towns and local associations, aimed at promoting regional handmade products and community activities.
