Local crime reports involve threats in Austria and graffiti in Germany

In Austria, a 60-year-old pensioner from the Waldviertel region has been sentenced to an 800 euro fine for making dangerous threats against the local head of Dobersberg. The individual admitted to threatening to stab the mayor with a Stanley knife during a heated confrontation at a municipal service center. The outburst was reportedly triggered by frustration over property damage caused by municipal works on a riverbank, which the man felt was not being addressed by local officials.

In Germany, residents in the Moosach district of Munich are reporting recurring issues with offensive graffiti and insults on benches near the Pelkovenschlössl. While local district committee members acknowledged that vandalism has become a widespread problem in the area, they noted that their ability to intervene is limited, particularly regarding private property. Authorities have urged citizens to report unconstitutional symbols or new graffiti to the police immediately to assist in investigations.
