Local cultural and agricultural festivals held in Desulo and Mantua

The town of Desulo, Sardinia, is hosting the 34th edition of ‘La Montagna Produce’ on October 31 and November 1. Organized by the Municipality of Desulo and the Pro Loco Desulo Aps, the event showcases Sardinian excellence in food and craftsmanship, including cured meats, cheeses, nougat, and woodcraft. The festival features cultural activities such as the Mountain Poets Literary Prize, traditional costume parades, and performances by folk groups and musical artists like Patty Pravo and Bobby Solo.

In Mantua, the ‘Festa delle Lumere’ drew thousands of visitors, including people from Milan and Friuli. The event featured approximately 50 agricultural companies showcasing various pumpkin varieties and local products. Due to high attendance, the Consorzio Agrituristico Mantovano indicated a need for larger spaces in future editions to accommodate growing interest in the traditional agricultural celebration.
