Local cultural and community awards announced in Denmark
Næstved Municipality has announced the recipients of its annual culture and talent awards. The awards ceremony will take place on October 30 at Rønnebæksholm. Kompagni 47, a physical performing arts company, has been awarded the Grundtvig-Marie Prize. Filmmaker Nikolas Sommerstedt will receive the Talent Prize, while musicians Noam Bendari Berglund and Rasmus Klog have been honored with Recognition Prizes.
In Aarhus, a new initiative called the Aarhus Dialogue Prize has been established to honor local projects that foster community and break down prejudices. Three actors from the Gellerup area have been nominated for the inaugural award, which will be presented at Aarhus City Hall on November 2. The prize aims to highlight efforts that create openness and genuine connection across different cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.
