Local cultural and culinary events scheduled in Italy and Romania

San Vittore Olona, Italy, will inaugurate its new municipal auditorium on Saturday, October 24. The facility is intended to serve as a cultural hub for music, art, and community gatherings. The opening ceremony will feature a violin performance by Lorenzo Meraviglia accompanied by Mauro Ivano Benaglia. The venue's first major event, part of the 18th edition of the Donne InCanto festival, is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, focusing on the artistic connection between Marilyn Monroe and Ella Fitzgerald.

In San Donato Val di Comino, Romania, the town will host the “Il Gusto dell’Autunno” festival on October 24 and 25. The event aims to showcase local enogastronomic excellence through tastings, traditional products, and live music within the medieval village. To assist visitors, a free shuttle service will operate between the “Ten. Maurizio Simone” sports facilities and Piazza IV Novembre throughout the weekend.
