Local cultural and culinary festivals held in Italy

Various local cultural and culinary events are taking place across different Italian regions.

In Collesalvetti, the 31st edition of the ‘Sagra della Pizza’ is being held at the Oratorio Don Bosco. Organized by the Parish of Saints Quirico and Giulitta, the event honors the memory of late pizzaiolo Leonetto Pistoia. The festival features various pizza styles, Tuscan cuisine including traditional soups and steaks, and live musical performances scheduled through early September.

In the Ravenna area, the ‘Settembre Santalbertese’ festival is underway in Sant’Alberto. The month-long program includes the 26th Potato Festival (Sagra della Patata) from September 2–6, a climate change lecture by Licia Colò, and a documentary screening honoring writer Cesare Zavattini. Other scheduled activities include nature excursions, cycling events, and classical music performances.
