Local cultural and youth festivals announced in Jovellanos and Denia

In Jovellanos, Cuba, the Summer Commission met at the Communist Party headquarters to evaluate the impact of the 2026 summer season. The meeting focused on the collaborative efforts between the culture sector, the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), and the Ministry of Education (MINED) to provide community programming. Organizers are now preparing for the upcoming Culture Week of Carlos Rojas and Jovellanos, which will celebrate the 156th anniversary of the municipality's name change through various recreational and cultural offerings.

In Denia, Spain, the fourth edition of JOAFEST is scheduled for September 26 at the Casal Jove facility. This free alternative leisure festival is designed and organized by local youth volunteers to provide autonomy for young residents. The event features a variety of activities including board games, Warhammer miniatures, trading card games, K-pop dance exhibitions, and outdoor physical activities such as archery and medieval-themed tournaments.
