Local cultural events held in Bad Belzig and Schwäbisch Gmünd

In Bad Belzig, the MSC Burg Eisenhardt club organized a soapbox race as a highlight of the Burgfestwoche. Participants, including children, raced down a slightly downhill track on Ernst Thälmannstrasse, reaching speeds of up to 30 km/h. The event included a slalom course and was supported by local food sales and a cultural program.

In Schwäbisch Gmünd, the Gmünder Messe for jewelry and utensils is scheduled to take place from October 2 to October 4, 2026, at the CCS Leutze-Saal. Organized by the Stiftung Gold- und Silberschmiedekunst Schwäbisch Gmünd, the exhibition will feature 40 exhibitors showcasing handmade masterpieces and current trends in gold and silver craftsmanship.
