Local cultural events held in Norway

The Ørsta and Volda Ballet School recently completed a cultural trip to London, involving 68 students and adults. The group, primarily consisting of youths aged 15–18, participated in dance training at Pineapple Dance Studios, covering styles such as Bollywood, jazz, and hip-hop. The itinerary also included attending musical performances of ‘Moulin Rouge!’ and ‘Hadestown’, alongside visits to landmarks like the London Eye and Big Ben.

In Oppdal, the Oppdal Kunstlag is hosting an art course open to all generations on October 24 and 25. Led by curator Yngvild Norigard, the workshop offers instruction in clay, watercolor, and charcoal. The event is designed to foster creativity and community across different age groups, with low participation fees supported by Oppdalsbanken.
