Local cultural festivals held in Daimiel and La Banda

Local festivities are being celebrated in Daimiel, Spain, and La Banda, Argentina, through various community-focused cultural events.

In Daimiel, the Municipal Music Band accompanied local authorities on a traditional visit to social centers, including Virgen de las Cruces, Vicente Aranda, La Masiega, and Azuer. Mayor Leopoldo Sierra participated in the visits to honor the elderly generation. The festivities also include the Red Cross Flag Day and various community gatherings in the Plaza de España.

In La Banda, the Municipal Council of Culture has announced the first ‘Abrazo Bandeño’ scheduled for September 5. The event aims to launch the ‘Septiembre Bandeño’ celebrations by bringing together over 400 dancers for a parade through the city streets, concluding at Plaza Belgrano with a collective performance of the local cultural anthem.
