Local cultural programs expand in Nova Iguaçu and Foz do Iguaçu

In Nova Iguaçu, the Educational and Cultural Foundation (Fenig) has extended the registration deadline for the Municipal Handicraft Program until November 30. The program allows local artisans to register or update their credentials to participate in city fairs, professional workshops, and regional events. The process involves an online form followed by an in-person technical evaluation. Since its creation in 2017, the program has registered approximately 3,000 professionals.

Meanwhile, in Foz do Iguaçu, the Cultural Foundation is conducting draws for service hours under the 'Foz Fazendo Arte' program. Following a recent expansion, the municipality now has 154 accredited art educators across 11 cultural areas and 34 categories. The draws aim to distribute teaching hours for the Municipal Education Secretariat and various cultural stations, including the Haroldo Alvarenga and Anamaria Teigão stations.
