Local development initiatives launched in Piotrków and Lublin

In Piotrków, the local vocational school, Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych nr 3, is set to become a modern educational center following the acquisition of 1.28 million PLN in EU funding. The investment will provide 66 paid internships for residents and upgrade various workshops. Specifically, approximately 466,799 PLN will be used to equip construction, installation, roofing, and finishing workshops with tools such as power tools, measuring equipment, and scaffolding. Additionally, 162,800 PLN is allocated to interior design workshops, which will include 15 high-performance computer workstations for 3D design, a large-format plotter, and an interactive whiteboard. The project also includes upgrades to waste management facilities.

In Lublin, International Bicycle Day was marked by initiatives to promote ecological urban mobility. Supported by EU funds from the 2021-2027 program, the city is focusing on developing infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists to improve road safety and quality of life. The initiative includes educational campaigns and film presentations to encourage sustainable transport and reduce carbon emissions.
