Local development projects underway in Ghioroiu and Ilia

In the Romanian commune of Ghioroiu, local administration is implementing several modernization projects. Under the leadership of Mayor Vicențiu Oprișan, the municipality has utilized National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) funds for the energy rehabilitation of the local middle school, including new furniture and equipment. Additionally, the community center has been fully modernized, and administrative buildings are undergoing rehabilitation. The local government is also working on systematic property registration through ANCPI and plans to install a photovoltaic park with battery storage systems at the Stirbești school to reduce energy costs.

In Ilia, infrastructure improvements are being finalized following large-scale investments in water, gas, and sewage networks.
