Local developments in Podgorica and Kragujevac

In Podgorica, citizens and local community leaders have expressed concerns regarding urban management and infrastructure. During consultations organized by Assembly President Srđan Perić, representatives criticized recent changes to traffic regimes in the city center, noting a loss of 200 parking spaces and inadequate playground facilities in older residential areas. There were also calls to revise parking fees, which reportedly increased from 20 to 50 euros for residents. Additionally, a proposal was made to erect a monument to mothers in the city center to promote unity and focus on core values.

In Kragujevac, recent parliamentary election results show a high voter turnout of nearly 73 percent, with 110,356 of the 152,043 registered voters participating. The Studentska lista (Students Win) secured a significant victory, receiving 57.98 percent of the vote, totaling 64,011 votes. This outperformed the United Serbia list led by Aleksandar Vučić, which received 39,076 votes, or less than 36 percent. Other political groups, including the Socialists, saw significantly lower support, while most other lists failed to reach the one percent threshold.
