Local eateries Bowls Café Raheny and Pure Saigonese Kitchen announce closures

Two popular local food establishments have announced their upcoming closures.

In Dublin, Bowls Café Raheny is ending its operations after nearly seven years. The business stated that the decision was reached after long consideration, noting that owner Andy has been advised to reduce time spent on his feet due to back problems. The café, known for its nutrient-rich bowls and locally sourced produce, will hold its final service on Friday, August 14th.

In Calgary, the Vietnamese pop-up Pure Saigonese Kitchen will conclude its operations at the end of the month, with its final service scheduled for August 30th. Chef Lam Pham, who gained recognition on ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’, shared that the closure is due to the upcoming arrival of a new member in his family. While the pop-up is winding down, customers can still visit his sister location, Pure Street Food, at the First Street Market.
