Local educational initiatives in Pornichet and La Seyne-sur-Mer

In Pornichet, students from primary and middle schools have begun participating in comic book creation workshops. These sessions cover various artistic techniques, including scriptwriting, layout, drawing, and inking. The students are preparing short stories and portfolios to be exhibited during the Pornichet Déam’bulle festival scheduled for April 3 and 4.

In La Seyne-sur-Mer, students from Lucie-Aubrac school participated in a heritage immersion program titled ‘Garder la pêche’. Organized by the Les Pescadous association and the Maison du Patrimoine, the initiative taught children about traditional Mediterranean fishing history. The program focused on the use of ‘pointus’ (traditional boats), historical fishing methods, and the development of beach hauling slips to protect vessels from waves.
