Local educational initiatives launched in Brazil

In Uruçuí, the municipal government, through the Secretariats of Environment and Education in partnership with Grupo Progresso, conducted a training course for Junior Firefighters at Genésia Neiva School. Led by Municipal Brigade chief Leonardo Sandes, students learned about the causes and consequences of forest fires, fire prevention, and environmental protection. The program included practical demonstrations of firefighting equipment and a simulation of fire containment, as well as activities at the Municipal Nursery to teach plant care.

In Paraíso do Norte, Detran-PR organized a traffic education activity for students from Professor Waigner Bento Pupin Municipal School. The initiative utilized a specialized track that reproduces urban elements like pedestrian crossings and traffic signage to provide interactive learning. The program aims to foster road safety awareness and responsible citizenship in children, encouraging them to share safe driving and walking behaviors with their families and communities.
