Local emergency services in Poland receive new equipment
Local authorities and unions in Poland are providing practical equipment and support to emergency services. In Legnica, the local branch of the NSZZ Policjantów union purchased two refrigerators and three microwave ovens to improve the social conditions and daily working environment for officers in the Prevention Police Unit.
In the Kotlin municipality, Mayor Paweł Wyremblewski distributed new safety gear to volunteer fire departments (OSP). The recent equipment includes 20 life jackets for water operations and 20 sets of safety harnesses for work at heights, totaling approximately 8,450 PLN. This initiative was largely funded by the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program for 2025-2026. Previous investments in the municipality include waders, tarpaulins, a power generator, an electric heater, a lighting mast, and a 5,000-liter water cistern.
