Local energy transition initiatives expand in the Netherlands

Residents expressed a strong need for clearer information regarding the costs, benefits, and available subsidies for energy-saving measures.

In Apeldoorn, the Energiepunt is launching free mobile consultation hours starting August 31 to improve accessibility. Advisors will visit various neighborhoods and villages, including Kerschoten, Orden, and Ugchelen, to provide guidance on insulation, high energy bills, and available subsidies. These sessions allow residents to receive personalized advice based on their specific housing situation and budget. The first fifty visitors to these new sessions will receive a free HomeWizard consumption monitor to track electricity usage.
