Local environmental and creative workshops held in El Encinar and Olavarría

Various community initiatives are promoting environmental awareness and creativity through local workshops. In El Encinar, the Sinfo Casero Municipal Library hosted ‘Los colores del otoño’, an autumn-themed workshop for children and families. The session focused on recycling and artistic expression, teaching participants to create seasonal trees using tempera paints, color mixing, and repurposed materials.

In Olavarría, the Municipality has announced a free workshop on composting and vermiculture. Scheduled for October 28 at the San Jose Municipal Cultural Center, the event aims to provide residents with tools to recycle organic household waste into high-quality fertilizer. The initiative seeks to minimize environmental impact and combat climate change by managing organic waste at its source.
