Local event calendars released for Krems and Amstetten districts in Austria

The Krems district announced a weekend programme that includes a Marillen (apricot) festival in the historic centre, a jazz concert series, open‑air film screenings, live music on the Danube promenade and a range of family‑friendly activities such as a children’s musical and market stalls. Additional cultural events feature a new sound‑art installation, a community theatre performance and various local fairs throughout the surrounding villages.

The Amstetten district published its own calendar covering concerts, open‑air festivals, theatre productions, sports tournaments and community markets. Highlights include a summer musical "The Band" at the Johann‑Pölz‑Halle, an urban art festival, a fireworks display by volunteer fire brigades, a beach‑volleyball championship and several children's activity days organised by local clubs and associations.
