The Villa de Garafía City Council is hosting a municipal market this Saturday, September 5, at the San Antonio del Monte Agricultural Promotion Center. In Peru, the Parque de las Leyendas has announced a 50% discount on entrance fees for all visitors during the weekends of September. The promotion applies to both the San Miguel and Huachipa locations. The facility, which is part of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, serves as a zoo and archaeological complex housing over 3,500 animals. Proceeds from admissions support the care, feeding, and veterinary attention of the animals, many of which were rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking.
