Local fairs and festivals scheduled in Uitkerke and Leiden

Various local festivities and fairs are scheduled in Uitkerke and Leiden.

In Uitkerke, Belgium, the village will host a three-day fair from September 4 to September 6. The event features attractions, food and drink stalls, live musical performances, and a flea market. Activities are spread across several locations, including the Ruiterstraat, the Sint-Amanduskerk, and various local cafes. Specific programming includes a pancake stand, a photo exhibition, and various musical acts such as Edje Ska & de Pilchards and LAJOS and the Gang.

In Leiden, Netherlands, a fair is scheduled for October 2 and 3. The event is distributed across multiple locations in and around the city center, including the Lammermarkt, Schuttersveld, and Beestenmarkt. Key attractions include the Freefall Tower Gravity, a Ferris wheel, and various roller coasters. A nostalgic section featuring classic attractions will also be held at Pieterskerkplein. Unlike previous years, no major attractions will be located near the station, which will instead host games and food stalls.
