Local fairs and street markets held in Boom and Oosterhout

Local festivities are taking place in Boom, Belgium, and Oosterhout, Netherlands.

In Boom, an annual braderie and fair is scheduled from September 4 to September 6. The event features a flea market in the Advokaatstraat, Kerkhofstraat, and Kerkstraat starting at 9:00. On Saturday, September 5, local merchants will open their doors for a braderie from 12:00 to 18:00, accompanied by street animation, music, DJ sets, and a bouncy castle. A fair will also be held at the Grote Markt.

In Oosterhout, the local fair is set to begin this Friday. The event will cause several logistical changes in the city center, including the temporary closure of the Slotjesveld parking area for attractions and activities. Various roads will be closed to through traffic to ensure visitor safety, and temporary camera surveillance will be implemented to monitor public order. Residents and visitors are advised to use alternative parking and consider walking or cycling to avoid congestion.
