Local fairs host Children's Day events with discounts and accessibility measures
Local fairs in Mérida and Melilla are hosting special events dedicated to children, featuring discounted attractions and accessibility initiatives.
In Mérida, the fair has designated September 2 as Children's Day, offering reduced prices on rides. To support accessibility for individuals with sound sensitivity, the fairground will operate without music from opening until 23:59, an extension of its usual noise-free hours. The programming also includes a Disney-themed children's show at the Caseta Municipal.
In Melilla, September 1 features Children's Day with discounts of 30% to 50% on rides. The city is also maintaining its “Fair Without Noise” period from 19:00 to 20:30 to assist those sensitive to acoustic stimuli. Other scheduled activities include bullfighting at the Melilla Bullring and musical performances in the youth area.
