Local festivals and community events announced in Germany

The district of Müs in Großenlüder is celebrating its 1,111-year anniversary with a large festival scheduled for August 15 and 16. The event features a variety of cultural and culinary offerings, including musical acts such as the Fulda hunting horn players, DJs, an oldtimer exhibition, a flea market, and bull riding.

Separately, the LandTageNord agricultural and leisure fair will take place in Wüsting from August 21 to 24. The Oldenburg Church will participate for the thirteenth time, hosting a ‘church tent’ designed as a paradise garden. The initiative aims to engage with the fair's approximately 70,000 expected visitors through various activities, including midday devotions and opportunities for dialogue with church staff and volunteers.
