Local festivals and political events scheduled in Italy

Various local cultural and political events are scheduled in Italy. In Pontelangorino, the 31st edition of the Sagra della Zucca will take place from August 28 to 31. Organized by the Gruppo Cultura Eventi of Pontelangorino in collaboration with several local associations, the festival features pumpkin-based gastronomy, music, sports, and crafts. Highlights include a green volley tournament by Codigoro Volley, a running race, and a commemorative exhibition for community volunteers Luciano Fabbri and Adriano Grassi.

In Reggio Emilia, the Festa nazionale dell’Unità is set to open on Wednesday, August 26, at Campovolo. The Partito Democratico (Pd) has taken full control of the event's organization, including food stands and arena performances. Provincial secretary Massimo Gazza stated that the event aims to focus more on families, incorporating entertainment from scouts, contemporary circus troupes, and dedicated spaces for local volunteer associations.
