Local festivals conclude in Azuqueca de Henares and Playa Honda

Various local festivals in Spain have concluded, marked by community participation and musical performances.

In Azuqueca de Henares, the September festivities ended with a fireworks display. Mayor Miguel Óscar Aparicio reported a successful event characterized by high attendance and minimal incidents. Key highlights included a float parade, a popular meal benefiting Guada Acoge, and various musical performances by orchestras such as La Misión and Tetrix. The program also featured special performances organized by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.

In Playa Honda, the end-of-summer celebrations concluded with fireworks and a performance by Arístides Moreno and the 101 Brass. The final day of activities included the Fiesta del Viento at Guacimeta beach, featuring workshops and kite flying, as well as a traditional Canarian wrestling match between the San Bartolomé and Tisajoire clubs.
