Local festivals held in Buchholz and Babenhausen

Several German towns are celebrating local community festivals. In Buchholz, the 50th anniversary of the Stadtfest is being held from September 18 to 20. The jubilee event features live music across various locations including the Rathausplatz and St. Paulus Church, a parade starting from Schützenplatz, and a large flea market organized by the Blau-Weiss Buchholz support association.

In Babenhausen, the 47th Altstadtfest recently concluded under a new concept titled ‘Babenhausen spielt!’. The organizers, Babenhäuser Vereine e. V., implemented this new format to revitalize the historic old town and increase visitor numbers. The strategy focused on transforming the entire old town into an interactive experience space with five hotspots, street performers, and various activity stations to encourage movement throughout the area.
