Local festivals held in Izumo and Hirosaki

Various local festivals are taking place in Japan. In Izumo City, the Yume Festa in Izumo is being held on October 10 and 11 at the central shopping district. The event features a Self-Defense Forces parade and vehicle exhibition, Orochi dancing, a skateboard contest, and various markets including the Atness Matsuri and WaiWai Marche.

In Hirosaki City, the Waku Waku Kodomo Yume Festa is being held from October 10 to October 12 at the Hirosaki Citizen Central Plaza. This family-oriented event includes animal encounters with marmots and fennecs, large inflatable play equipment, and craft activities. Admission is 500 yen for adults and children, with children aged two and under entering for free.
