Local figures pass or celebrate milestones in Spain

Isaías Antonio Mozo Catalá, known as Saíto, has passed away at the age of 82 in Zamora. He was the longtime proprietor of Bar Niágara, a historic establishment in Palma that operated from 1955 until 2004. Managed alongside his sister Enriqueta, the bar served as a significant social hub for generations of residents.

In Valencia, Josefina Sanchiz, co-founder of the mountain sports shop Deportes Lara, is celebrating over 70 years of business. At 93, Sanchiz remains a prominent figure in the local community and a pioneer in mountaineering, having been one of the few female climbers during the mid-20th century.
