Japan food and beverage sector hosts various seasonal tasting events
Various food and beverage events and promotions are scheduled across Japan, focusing on seasonal dining and alcohol appreciation.
In Osaka, Choya Umeshu is hosting a 30th-anniversary exhibition at Dees Square in Umeda. The event features a two-meter tall monument of its ‘Sarari to shita Umeshu’ packaging, brand history displays, free samples, and limited edition merchandise.
Other regional activities include a wine pairing event at base Co+ Shiki, a sake and snack festival at Tanaka Shuzo Honten in Otaru, and the ‘Tsukimi no Utage 2026’ at Kinone Omoya in Chiba, which features live music and seasonal Japanese cuisine. Additionally, Chidori Sake is holding tasting and sales events in Tokyo and Chiba, while Isomaru Suisan is running a festival with discounted highballs and lemon sours through August 31.
