Local food events scheduled in Périgueux and Gard

In Périgueux, the “Les Halles en feu” event returns for a second evening on October 30 at the Coderc market halls. Organized by the bar-restaurant l’Écurie des halles in partnership with the local town hall, the event follows a successful first iteration in September that drew approximately 1,200 people. The evening will feature local merchants, including butchers and fishmongers, alongside entertainment such as a DJ, stilt walkers, and fire breathers.

In the Gard region, the “Halles éphémères” event has been rescheduled for November 1 following delays caused by recent bad weather. The market will host approximately thirty professionals from Gard, Hérault, and Lozère, offering local products such as organic beer, wine, cognac, farm products, and seasonal specialties. The event includes live music and food prepared on braziers.
