Local food festivals scheduled in Chiba and Saitama

Several local food and beverage events are scheduled in the Chiba and Saitama prefectures.

Yakiniku Like is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a special promotion across 72 locations, including its Funabashi LaLaport branch, from August 29 to 31, 2026. On August 29, the restaurant will offer half-portions of Kuroge Wagyu lean beef for 500 yen. For August 30 and 31, a special gourmet set featuring Kuroge Wagyu lean beef, kalbi, and harami will be available for 1,990 yen.

In Yashio, Saitama, the Frespo Yashio Sake Festival will take place on August 28 and 29, 2026. The event features seven sake breweries from Saitama Prefecture offering tastings and sales at the 1st-floor Promenade Plaza. The festival coincides with the Yashio Night Market held at Yashio Station Park on the evening of August 28.
