Argentina labor reform introduces new vacation rules

Recent labor reforms in Argentina have introduced new regulations regarding the organization of annual employee vacations. While the total number of vacation days remains unchanged and is still determined by an employee's seniority, the new rules provide greater flexibility for both workers and employers.

Key changes include the ability to fractionate leave into multiple periods, provided that each segment lasts at least seven consecutive days. Additionally, the reform allows for the agreement of vacation dates outside the traditional summer period, though such arrangements require mutual consent between the employer and the employee.
