Local German institutions honor long-serving employees

Various institutions in Germany held ceremonies to recognize the long-term commitment of their staff members.

In Kaufbeuren, Mayor Stefan Bosse honored 28 employees for their service milestones. Among those recognized, 23 individuals celebrated 25 years of service, while five employees reached 40 years of tenure with the city administration.

In Schwandorf, the St. Barbara Hospital of the Brothers Hospitallers celebrated 71 employees for their dedication. The combined years of service for the honorees totaled 1,435 years, with individual milestones ranging from 10 to 45 years. Managing Director Janina Philipp noted that such long-term loyalty is a rarity in the current era.
