Local governance updates in Rzeszów and Sanok

In Rzeszów, the association ‘Razem dla Rzeszowa’ has announced a new leadership structure and a long-term strategic vision. Following an extraordinary general meeting, Elżbieta Niedzielska was re-elected as head, supported by vice-presidents Artur Polakiewicz and Waldemar Ruszel. The group is developing a ‘New Urban Agenda for Rzeszów 2035’ to address urban chaos, the loss of green spaces, and issues regarding flood zone development.

Meanwhile, in Sanok, the County Board has launched an information campaign titled ‘DośćCiszy’ (Enough Silence) to address the financial crisis facing the Sanok Healthcare Enterprise (SPZOZ). Authorities aim to provide transparency regarding the hospital's finances, noting that monthly funds of approximately 14 million PLN from the National Health Fund are largely consumed by salary costs. The board is presenting documented data to counter misinformation and address the facility's growing liquidity challenges.
